How Does The Custom Heat Sink Play A Role In Heat Dissipation

The custom heat sink is mainly used on the radiator. Of course, the heat sink effect will be different depending on the material used. Although we often talk about thermal heat sink, you know how the heat sink can dissipate heat. Does it work? Today I will introduce to you.


1. Heat absorption: Absorb the heat of small-sized and small-area exothermic elements, so that they will not rise sharply due to the accumulation of heat and cause various types of failures.


2. Heat conduction: Conduct the originally absorbed heat internally to various parts of the heat sink, and make full use of the larger heat capacity and surface area to conduct heat conduction.


3. Heat dissipation: The heat is dissipated into the air through various heat exchange channels on the surface (mainly heat convection) (it can be used with a fan for forced convection).


The above three steps are the process by which the custom heat sink has a heat dissipation effect. It can be seen that the thermal heat sink mainly dissipates heat through the three steps of heat absorption, heat conduction, and heat dissipation.
